I've worked with Vizio support, reset the soundbar several times, removed the app and cleared the cache on my phone, reset both of my home WiFi routers, disabled MAC address filtering on the routers (since I can't find the MAC of the soundbar on the device or any documentation that came with it), and tried both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. I can pair it via Bluetooth with my LG V30 Android phone and play music as a Bluetooth speaker, but no Bluetooth pairing with the SmartCast app. My new SB36512-F6 5.1.2 soundbar will not connect to my home network via WiFi or ethernet (the preferred option), and won't pair with the SmartCast app via WiFi (for obvious reasons) or Bluetooth.
